Mary Merlene Ivey, 88, of Madison, passed away April 21, 2017.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am Monday, April 24th at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel in Canton; burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 2 – 4 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Rev. Hugh Smith will officiate.
Ms. Ivey was a member of Twin Lakes Baptist Church in Madison; she was a Homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Jimmie Ulmer Sims; husband, William E. “Jack” Ivey; son, Eddie Ivey; brother, James Harrison Sims; sisters, Lizzie Cooley and Verlon Wiles.
She is survived by daughters, Teresa (Ric) Schweitzer, Patsy (Larry) Stephens; son, Ronnie (Regina) Ivey; sisters, Eleanor Cochran, Melba (William) Taylor; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
