Ms. Ruby Turner, 87, formerly of Carthage, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017 in Canton.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am Saturday, August 19th at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel; with burial to follow at the Canton City Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 5 – 8 pm at the funeral home. Rev. John Adams will officiate.
Ms. Turner was a member of Freeny Baptist Church. She was a self-employed Daycare Operator.
She is preceded in death by parents, L.W. and Emma Wiltcher Wadford; husband, James Pete Turner, Jr.; daughter, Shirley Stuart; brothers, Charles Wadford, Tillman Wadford, Glennwood Wadford.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Roland, Joann Jenkins; sisters, Mary Waldrup, Janie Burns; brothers, Billy Wadford, James Wadford, Johnny Wadford; 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
