Obituary for Simone Owen (Boudreaux)
Simone Boudreaux Owen, 49, passed away Wednesday at M D Anderson Hospital in Houston, TX.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Sunday, February 4, at Culpepper Funeral Home in Kosciusko with burial to follow at Parkway Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday afternoon February 3 from 1:00 pm till 5:00 pm at Culpepper Funeral Home and after 12 noon on Sunday.
Simone, a native of Marrero, LA, was a graduate of L W Higgins High School, a graduate of Southern Mississippi University with a Bachelor of Science degree and a minor in Biology, also a graduate of the University of Mississippi school of Dental Hygiene.
She worked at Reynolds Dental Practice in Forest, MS for 19 years. Her hobbies included traveling, gardening and swimming. It goes without saying that she enjoyed spending her time with her family the most.
She was preceded in death by her mother Marie Bateaux Boudreaux and brother in law Robert Allen.
She is survived by her husband Tony, one son Tyler Owen and his wife Meredith, three daughters: Macie Morgan and her husband Matt, Maggie Owen and Madeline Owen, her father Nathan Boudreaux and his wife Rita. One sister, Eygpt Phillip and her husband Todd. Her brothers: Eldon Boudreaux and his wife Angela, Nathan Boudreaux, Jr. and Duane Boudreaux. She is also survived by brother in laws Kenny Owen and Stanley Owen and his wife Gwen. One sister in law Cyndee Tullos and her husband Tim.
