Mr. Robert Hudgins, 73, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018 at his residence.
Visitation will be 11:00 am to 2:00 pm Monday, August 6th at Culpepper Funeral Home; funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm with Pastor Butch Bell officiating. Burial to follow at Jerusalem Cemetery.
Born December 28, 1944, he was the 13th of 14 children. Robert was a graduate of McAdams High School. He was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church. Over the years, Robert has worked at Sheller Globe Corporation and Nicholas Acoustics.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Patricia Shields Hudgins of Kosciusko; daughter, Melanie Odom of Kosciusko and her husband Charles; two granddaughters, Leslie Odom Griffin and her husband Cody, Madison Odom all of Kosciusko; great granddaughter, Layla Claire Griffin; sisters, Mary Calhoun, Frances Gunter, Patricia Blaine, Margaret Buie; brothers, Paul Hudgins, Sammy Hudgins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude Hudgins, Sr. and Doris Killebrew Hudgins; sister, Betty Jo Cox; brothers, Claude, Jr., Eugene, Fred, James, Wayne and Charles.
Pallbearers are a few of his nephews, Marlon Calhoun, Pat Calhoun, Joe Calhoun, Kerry Hudgins, Michael Hudgins and James Ray Hudgins.
