Ms. Billie Jo Arnold, 54, of Pickens passed away September 20, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her family. Services will be at 11 am Monday, September 23 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial following in Concord Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 – 4 pm Sunday at Culpepper Funeral Home and after 10 am Monday at the Church.
Ms. Arnold was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church; and was a Deputy Clerk for the Chancery Clerk of Madison County. She was preceded in death by her mother, JoAnne Billingslea and nephew, Cal Foy. She is survived by daughters, Liza Marlett Veazey and Jessica Arnold; father, Billy Billingslea; sisters, Vikki Foy, Shelly (Preston) Pittman and Dianne (Dick) Mansell; grandson, Austin Waldrup. The Family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at UMMC and Sta-Home Hospice Care for the delicate and professional care to Billie Jo during her treatments and homecare. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the American Cancer Society or Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital.
