Mr. Rusty Lee Dees, 52, of Vaiden passed away February 3, 2014 at UMC in Jackson. Services will be held at 2 pm Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 – 8 pm Wednesday and after 12 noon on Thursday. Rev. Ralph Hunt and Rev. Donald Self will officiate.
Mr. Dees was a member of Sandhill Baptist Church. He was a Logger, a member of the Attala County School Board, Volunteer Fire Chief and Sound Director at Sandhill Baptist. He is preceded in death by mother, Mildred Alyne Dees. He is survived by wife, Janice Dees; son, Ethan (Kasey) Dees; daughters, Alicia Dees & Ashley Dees; father, John Henry Dees; brothers, Randy Lee (Amanda) Dees, Ronny Lee (Cathy) Dees and Ricky Lee (Iva) Dees. Pallbearers will be Wendell Whittington, Terry Miller, Paul Joiner, Johnny Clark, Jed Dendy, Mark Woods. Honorary Pallbearers are Rebecca Whittington, Debra Miller, Cherie Joiner, Carolyn Clark, Lisa Dendy, Paula Woods and Carol Morgan.
