Mr. T.W. Davis, 72, of Carmack passed away September 30, 2014 at Baptist Hospital in Jackson, MS.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 am, Saturday, October 4th at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following at North Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 – 7 pm Friday at the funeral home. Rev. Ed Newman will officiate.
Mr. Davis was a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church. He was a Sunday School Teacher and Deacon at North Winona Baptist Church for many years before moving back home to Attala County. He attended school at Carmack and Vaiden High School. Mr. Davis was in the appliance repair business in Winona for many years and later worked at J.D. Lanham Supply Company for fifteen years before retiring.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson and Jennie Mae Davis. He was survived by his wife of 54 years, Bonnie Burrell Davis; son, Bobby Joe Davis and wife Abby of Brooks, GA; grandchildren, Laurie, Danny, Jordan, Kyra and Cassandra; great grandchildren, Elena and Aaliah; sister, Betty Bufkin of Vaiden; a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Bert Barrett, David Watkins, Brian Watkins, Craig Watkins, Roger James and Keith King. Honorary Pallbearers are Sammy Yates and Leroy Butler. T.W. was loved by all his family and many friends and will be missed by all.
