Beulah  Doris  Gibson
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Beulah Doris Scoggins Gibson will be held Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Winona Memory Garden with Rev. Randy Dees officiating. Chris Canton, Jamie Utz, Robert Utz, Kevin Gibson will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Gibson, 91, passed away on April 14th at the Vaiden Community Living Center. She was born in Montgomery County on April 18,1923, to the late Wyvil C. and Ethel Cross Scoggins. She was a seamstress, homemaker and loved by all as a soft spoken gentle giant. She was a member of Vaiden Baptist Church.
Mrs. Gibson is survived by two daughters, Norene Gibson of Batesville, AK, Linda Gibson Lee of Kosciusko and one son, Melvin Gibson (Janice) of Kosciusko and one brother, Maxie Scoggins of Mt. Olive. She is also survived by six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Gibson is preceded in death by her husband, James T. (J.T.) Gibson; her parents, Wivle C. and Ethel Cross Scoggins; two brothers and three sisters. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Hospital or Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital.
