Mr. Carlton Johnson, 79, of Carthage, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Friday, March 24th at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel; with burial to follow at Parkway Cemetery. Visitation will be 12 noon until service time. Rev. Don Cook will officiate.
Mr. Johnson was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church. He was a self-employed Electrician.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Nell Johnson; daughters, Sheila Sanders and husband Phil, Terry Overstreet and husband Doug; sons, Don Moore, Gregg Moore and wife Lita; sisters, Bobbie Oliver, Rosemary Kelly, Irene McKay; ten grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ivy and Mary Lou Johnson.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons; Steven Sanders, Jon Sanders, Jason Moore, Michael Moore, Douglas Overstreet, P.J. Overstreet.
