Ms. Irene Smith, 85, formerly of McAdams, passed away November 29, 2017.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, December 2nd at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel; burial will follow at the Attala Memory Gardens. Visitation will begin at 9:30 am Saturday prior to services. Rev. James Young will officiate.
Ms. Smith was a homemaker, waitress and convenient store owner. She was a military spouse whose husband served and retired from the United States Army.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clayton Isaac and Mary Emma McDaniel Humphrey; husband, Bill Smith; brothers, J.D., Elvin, Roy, Howard; sister, Christine.
She is survived by her son, Billy Smith; sisters, Louise Deal, Pauline Westbrook; grandchildren, Danielle, Christy, Courtney, Candace, Madisson, Mallory; twelve great grandchildren; beloved niece, Tenia McAdams.
In lieu of flowers the family asks memorials be made to The Lone Survivor Foundation or Toys for Tots.
