Mr. James N. “Jim” Hudson, 89, of Sallis, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017 at UMC in Jackson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, December 4th at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel; burial will follow at New Hope Lutheran Church Cemetery in Sallis. Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Rev. Wayne Hudson, Rev. Martin Frazure, Rev. Jerry Meggs and Rev. Ralph Hunt will officiate services.
Mr. Jim was born October 28, 1928 to Virgil and Nella Frazure Hudson in the Zemuly community.
He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. He retired from Pet Milk, Luvel Company, and was an assistant at Royce’s Kwik Stop.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles Hudson; grandchildren, Michael Wayne and Jordan.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Hudson; sons, J.D. Hudson and wife Mary, Wayne Hudson and wife Tina; daughters, Sherry Pee and husband Royce, Rhonda Grantham and husband Scottie, Ludie James and husband Bob; nine grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
