Obituary for Ray Thomas

Ray  Thomas
Mr. Ray Thomas, 75, of West, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018 at UMC in Jackson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, February 21st at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel; burial to follow at Brister Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Rev. Barry Corbett will officiate.
Mr. Thomas was a member of Springdale Baptist Church. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator at Red Hills Coal Mine until retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Thomas; daughters, Pam (Chris) Gilmore, Melanie (Brad) Love; grandchildren, Maddy Gilmore, Jackson Gilmore, Mary Landrum Love, Ann Thomas Love.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Tillman Ray and Sarah Elizabeth Mussellwhite Thomas.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Ward, Raymond Turner, Brian Shoemaker, David Lewis, Davey Crawley, Bill Martin, Raymond Snuggs, Jackson Gilmore. Honorary pallbearers are Robert Alexander, Travis McBride, Gerald Pender, Bob Scott, Bobby Martin, Danny Mussellwhite, Jimmy Rigby and Doc Holt.
