Joe Crowder, Jr., 85, went home to his Heavenly Father on December 13, 2020.

Graveside services are 11:00AM Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Sallis Cemetery.

No public visitation is planned.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years Mary Dickerson Crowder, his son Mike Crowder (Jeanna), his daughters Wanda Casey (Ricky) and Lib Clark (Mark), his sister Joyce Adams, his grandchildren Kristin Selby, Courtney Pennington (Dusty), Scott Casey (Lee), Emily Goldman (Paul), Jacob Casey (Baylee), Jill Linkins (Nathan), Jordan Clark (Kayce), Josh Crowder (Kristen), Marion Cole (Hunter), and Matt Crowder, his great-grandchildren Ella, Brayden, Mason, D C, Kobe, Kaleb, Brady, Rainey, Finn, Nash, Ross Taylor, and Landon.

He was a member at First Baptist Church of Durant where he served as a Deacon and Sunday School teacher. Joe was a Lions Club Member, little league baseball coach, and part time cattle farmer. In his later years, he was the water operator for Castallian Water Associations. He then retired from Entergy after 43 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Jennie Temple Crowder, his brother Claude, his sister Lois, his daughter Donna Chapman, and grand-daughter Shelly Guider.
