Carolyn Sue Brooks Taylor Armstrong
Carolyn Armstrong, 78, passed away Thursday night at her daughters residence in Holcomb.
Funeral services are 2:00pm Sunday January 10, 2021 at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel in Kosciusko. Burial to follow at Bethesda Cemetery in Montgomery County. Visitation is from 12:30 until 2:00 at Culpeper Funeral Home.
Carolyn was a member of North Union Baptist Church and had retired from the Department of Human Services.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Armstrong, her daughters: Melissa “Missy” Myles (Wade), Elizabeth “Libby” Rutledge (Mark), her sons, Mike Taylor, Cleveland Taylor, Jr.
Her siblings: Riley Brooks (Bernice), Robbie Anderson (Bobby), Ruthie Ray (Melvin),
James Ray Brooks (Vonnie), Linda Faye Newton (Gary), Judy Lollar (Dwight),
Betty Adams (Kenny), Mike Brooks (Regina)
Grandchildren: Michael Glenn Taylor, Hamp Myles, Lauren Palmertree, Amanda Rose Bullard, Paula Nail, Riley Tyler, Sydney Hightower
Great-Grandchildren: Trinadey Smith, Zoey Smith, Mayson Palmertree, Isabella Rose Bullard, Bryce Palmertree, Wes Palmertree, Harper Myles, Audrey Taylor, Jim Martin Taylor, and River Lee Nail, on his way.
She was preceded in death by her parents R L and Jessie Pritchard Brooks, her sons Jerry Don McLaughlin and Terry Lynn McLaughlin and her previous husband C R “Jim” Taylor.
