Daisy Jackson, 78, of West, MS passed away January 23, 2021 at Baptist Hospital in Jackson.
Graveside services are 2:00PM Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at North Union Cemetery.
Visitation is 5:00pm-8:00pm Monday, January 25, 2021 at Church of God Prophecy.
Daisy is survived by her husband David Jackson, sons Glenn Ellington (Rhonda), Tony Ellington, Arnold Ellington (Paula), and Scottie Ellington (Melissa), daughter Debra Lindsey (John), brothers David, Kenneth, and Ronald Nash, sister Barbara Sanders, grandchildren Brian Ellington, April Murphy, Toby Ellington, Kevin Dueitt, Robert Dees, Justin McDaniel, Tiffany Hill, Keith Ellington, and Alyssa Lindsey, 17 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Mrs. Daisy was passionate for her community and loved everyone. She was a member of Church of God Prophecy and admired working for Attala Baptist Hospital as a receptionist.
She was preceded in death by her parents William Desmond and Lenora Hood Nash, granddaughter Marissa Ellington, grandson Victor Dueitt, and nephew Matthew Nash.
Pallbearers are Brian Ellington, Toby Ellington, Keith Ellington, Robert Dees, Trenton Oaks, and Daniel McBride. Honorary pallbearer is John Blissard.
