I just want the whole family to know how saddened I am to hear of Wendell’s passing. He was one of the first friends of Tommy’s that I met back in 1965 when we started dating. When Tommy became home bound, Wendell stopped by on several occasions to visit with him. You don’t know how much we both appreciated that. For 4 1/2 years Tommy was here all day, everyday, and visits from friends meant so much. When Tommy passed away 3 years ago, Marsha & Wendell were some of the first to come visit and bring food. I’m so sorry that the weather kept us from coming to their house. The Church did send flowers.
I just want all of you to know that we loved your husband, Daddy & Grand Daddy. I ask God To Comfort y’all and Give You Peace That Only He Can. This is not the end. We will see him again one day. I’m sure that he, Tommy & Charles Burchfield are all getting caught up on all the happenings around here. Also, he has been reunited with all of your loved ones that have gone on before him. Just keep your eyes on Jesus. He will see you through your sad times.
