Obituary for Bernard Russell
Bernard Russell, 87, of Kosciusko, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Baptist Hospital in Jackson.
Graveside Services are 2:00 Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Parkway Cemetery in Kosciusko with Don Cook officiating and Art Land assisting.
Visitation is 12:00-1:30 Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Culpepper Funeral Home.
Bernard is survived by his daughter Debbie Horn (Mike), grandson Brett Dyess (Courtney), great-grandson Rhys Dyess, and several nieces and nephews.
He was a founding member at Parkway Baptist and a former accountant, he was also owner of Leonard’s Department Store. He was a former Lion’s Club Member and he served on the Kosciusko Water and Light board.
He is preceded in death by his wife Geraldine Ray Russell, parents Henry and Bertha Ferguson Russell, sisters Ganier Russell and Loette Lacey, and brother Leon Russell.
Memorials can be made to Parkway Baptist Church or French Camp Academy.
