Obituary for Teressa Gail Bishop
Teressa Bishop, born on September 19, 1960, was called home to be with Jesus May 16, 2021.
Funeral Services are 11:00 am Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Stump Ridge Cemetery.
Visitation is from 9:00 am until 11:00 am Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Culpepper Funeral Home.
She is survived by her husband Bill Bishop, sons Brad Tate, Jon Tate (Crystal) and Matt Tate (Amanda), 13 grandchildren: Ashlyn (sister) Tate, Ashton (Bubba) Tate, Mary Claire (lil monkey) Tate, Bayleigh Tate, Michael Jones, Zoey Jones, Alissa Jones, Audrey Tate, Jax Tate, Eli Tate, Lexi Tate, Ryan Tate, Blaze Tate, and her brother Johnny Pritchard (Aletha).
Teressa loved sports, especially watching her children and grand children play. She enjoyed fishing, watching the Saints, doing crossword puzzles and lately, color by number on her IPad says Sister, Claire and Bubba said, do not forget Hayday. What the kids wanted is what she wanted. Teressa worked for the Postal Service in Durant until being disabled due to heart failure in 2006. After this, Teressa’s main interest was loving and watching her grandchildren grow in both number and size. Teressa was a gift from God and will be remembered and loved by all those mentioned and many more.
She was preceded in death by her parents Sonny and Alice Horne Pritchard, siblings William Pritchard, Dino Pritchard, Lisa Pritchard, and Kathy Broyles.
We thank God for His son Jesus our savior and the time He gave us here on earth with Teressa.
