Verniece Townsend, 80, of Kosciusko, passed away December 27, 2021 at Baptist Hospital in Jackson.
Funeral Services are 2:00 PM Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Parkway Cemetery.
Visitation is 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Culpepper Funeral Home.
Verniece is survived by her husband Cliff Townsend, daughter Penny Clanton (Dennis), and brother David Parish (Sue).
She retired in banking working with Citizens National Bank and Attala Bank. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and a member of Second Baptist Church.
Verniece is preceded in death by her parents George and Camilla Pee Parish.
