Obituary for Floyd Sanders
Floyd Sanders, 80, of Kosciusko passed away March 7, 2022 at Baptist Hospital in Jackson.
A memorial service honoring Floyd “Sonny” Sanders will be held on Sunday, April 10, at 11:00 a.m., at Zama Baptist Church. This memorial will be incorporated into the church’s regular Sunday service. All are welcome, and in lieu of flowers, please consider giving to Wycliffe Missions (Wycliffe Bible Translators), a ministry supported by Floyd, and his wife Jimmy Linda, for over 40 years.
Floyd is survived by his wife Jimmy Linda Adams Sanders, daughter Sonja Arnett (Kenneth Wayne), brother Gerry Sanders, sisters Sue Gilliland, Johnnie Todd and Billie Breazeale, and grandson Kenneth Trey Arnett.
He was a member of Zama Baptist Church, a veteran of the United States Army, and a retired Architect for the United States National Park Service.
He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Volina Wells Sanders and sister Alice Sanders Aughtman.
