Obituary for Marvin Dees
Marvin Dees, 80, passed away June 3, 2022, at Baptist Attala in Kosciusko, MS
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Monday June 6, 2022, at Liberty Chapel Cemetery in Ethel, MS
Visitation will be from 9:30 am until 10:30am at Culpepper Funeral Home in Kosciusko prior to the Graveside services.
Marvin is survived by his wife Carolyn Oakes Dees, his daughters Tammy Miles (David), Sandy Palmertree (Randy), Suzanne Renfrow (Jeff), Vanessa Ables, Tammy Beall (Stan) and Amy Ramage, his sons Danny Perry (Teresa) and Albert Whitman (Susie), sister Brenda Parkman, 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Eunice and Lona Veazey Dees and his brother Billy.
Marvin attended Williamsville Baptist Church, a graduate of Ethel High School, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business / Accounting & Industry from Mississippi state University, 1963. He had worked with the MS State Board of Health. Inventory Control and Production Foreman for Sheller Globe from 1971 to 1978 and he retired from Southeastern Timber Products after 40 years in 2018 as Maintenance Supervisor and Payroll Accountant.
He had served in the National Guard from 1965 – 1980 receiving an honorable discharge

Pallbearers will be Parker Beall, Hayden Beall, Christian Whitman, Mark Palmertree, Evan Miles and Anthony Oakes.
Reverend Jeremy Tilghman will officiate.
