Obituary for Elbert Keith
Elbert Keith,81, of Sallis passed away on August 15, 2022. He was born in Clarksdale, MS on April 14, 1941.
A graveside service will be 11:30 AM Friday August 19, 2022, at Bowlin Cemetery in Sallis. No visitation is planned.
Elbert is survived by sisters Jean Horne of Kosciusko, MS, Eveline Bennett of Durant, MS, daughters Cheryl (Chris) McBride of Stafford, VA, Amanda (Albert) Habbershon of Omaha, NE, and Gracie (Moises) Gonzalez. He also leaves behind 6 grandchildren: Gage McBride, Wyatt Habbershon, Bradley McBride, Regan Habbershon, Jordan Gonzalez, and Mason Gonzalez.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years Shirley Townsend Keith, his parents, son Donnie Keith, brother Edward Keith, and sisters Faye Perry and Nancy Cockroft.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a retired farmer.
