Obituary for Randy Holloway
Randy Holloway, 66, passed away Monday January 2, 2023 at Select Specialty Hospital-Belhaven in Jackson.
Funeral Services are 10:00 am Friday, January 6, 2023 at Culpepper Funeral Home in Kosciusko with burial to follow at Parkway Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Culpepper Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
Randy is survived by his wife, Sherry Love Holloway, his daughter, Mandy Love Hudgins and her husband, James, his granddaughter, Alex Love “Toot” Swilley, his caretaker, Tony Brooks (Shelia) and his 4-legged friend Wiley, better known as Bo.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents Jimmy Dee and Bernice Wedgeworth Holloway, his in laws Aaron and Wilma Graham McCool, his son Andy Thweatt and his brother in laws Randy McCool and Donnie McCool and his former caregiver Cee Thornton.
Randy was a member of First Baptist Church Kosciusko since 1972, a graduate of Kosciusko High School where he was a 4 sport Letterman, a member of the 1974 Kosciusko Whippet State Champion Baseball team. He attended the University of Southern Mississippi where he played baseball for two years prior to his accident in the summer of 1976. He was a member the USM M Club, USM Eagle club and USM Dugout club.
He owned and operated Possumneck Quick Stop for 8 years and an Insurance agent with Holloway Crop Insurance for 20 Years.
Per Randy, “I want Pastor’s, Pallbearers and everyone attending (men and women) to wear shirts of their favorite sports team (high school, college or pro)
NO SUITS or TIES ARE TO BE WORN BY ANY ONE ATTENDING
