Mr. Johnny Dean, 92, of Kosciusko, passed away January 13, 2016.
Graveside services will be held at 11 am Monday, January 18th at the New Cleveland Cemetery in Cleveland, MS. Visitation will be from 2 – 4 pm Sunday at Culpepper Funeral Home.
Mr. Dean was a World War II Veteran serving in the famed Tiger Stripe Marauder Group of the U.S. Ninth Air Force. He was the owner and operator of Crossroads Grocery.
He is preceded in death by parents, Thomas Leonard and Margaret Carver Dean; daughter, Betty P. Flynn; sister, Betty Robinson; grandson, Ned Flynn.
He is survived by son, John (Sandy) Dean; grandchildren, Jennifer Armenis, Christopher Dean, Deborah (Tate) Rush, Tracy Flynn (Regie) Clark, Trish Flynn (David) Dehaan, Darby Flynn (Mark) Hietman, Christopher (Kathy) Flynn; 13 great grandchildren; niece, Meg (Billy) King; great nephews, Ryan and Kyle.
